5:22 p.m.prophecyboy: i've been really good about not being bitter for awhile now!
prophecyboy: since i've been here in this city and actually working towards goals, life has been pretty positive
chris: i understand the bitter jadedness
prophecyboy: and i think that bitter jadedness is what's most unattractive about us 20 something boys
prophecyboy: guys who are older have been through it and probably don't want to go through it again with a younger guy in a real relationship
chris: the only thing i've learned is not to assume what other guys want
prophecyboy: but then again, define real relationship, and how does one know when it begins? hypothetical of course
prophecyboy: which brings us to that point
chris: the shift is to "what do _i_ want?"
prophecyboy: it is almost impossible to assume what other guys want since you can't really define these lines
prophecyboy: they're not so cut and dry
prophecyboy: so the only way to go about this is to focus on your own needs and wants
prophecyboy: because only you can know what you really want
prophecyboy: and hope that you come across someone with compatibility
chris: and demystifying the whole "the one" theory
chris: there is no "the one"
prophecyboy: yeah... cuz you know that's all shit
