crank yankers

i was watching crank yankers right now. that show on comedy central where they make prank calls and then use puppets to show how they think they would act it out. it's pretty funny. i mostly watch it to listen to the calls, i don't really like the puppets. i think it takes away from the prank calls. it's funnier when you can close your eyes and imagine what the people must look like.

well...anyway. one of the calls was to a lingerie store. the woman on the other end asked for the manager. she was trying to accuse the lady who worked the day before of "touching" her. it was pretty funny. until the manager lady started to go into how crazy the woman is for trying to accuse of the worker of molesting her. because the worker who worked the day before was herself, the manager. you follow? well the prankcaller was going off on a tangent on how she thinks she's falling in love with the worker lady because of that one touch. and blah blah. the manager starts to get a little hysterical and she goes into how she must be sick. and how what she's doing is not right. she's totally believing this is real. but she turned it into something else.

the manager thinks this woman is calling her to talk about lesbians and get off with talking about being touched in a lingerie store. she tells her about men calling in doing the same thing. and that's just sick. i never thought of it like that. i feel sorry for those women who work in those lingerie stores who would get calls like that from sick people. people like that exist. did i forget for some reason? but somehow that joke just wasn't funny anymore. it was at first, but then i felt sorry for that lady. she was really upset, and probably sick of getting those calls.

not to be a downer or anything, it's a funny show. and i'm getting more and more addicted to comedy central. sick humor is great. i love it.
