attack of the pepsi pagans!
| <<-- : 07.16.03 : -->> |

11:33 a.m.

this was sent to me in an email forward just right now. it was in BIG BOLD letters that just screamed at me as i opened it!

Don't buy new Pepsi can.

Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can coming out with

pictures of the Empire State Bldg. and the Pledge of

Allegiance on them. But, Pepsi left out two little

words on the pledge, "Under God." Pepsi said they did

not want to offend anyone. If this is true then we do

not want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate

office. If we do not buy any Pepsi product then they

will not receive any of our monies. Our money after

all does have the words "Under God" on it.

Please pass this word to everyone you know--let your

voices be heard. We want the words "Under God" to be

read by every person who buys a can.

HOW FAST CAN YOU FORWARD

RIGHT! let's boycott pepsi because they don't feel it's right to force the christian faith or any religion of God onto suspecting non-believer-pepsi drinkers! let's bring down those pepsi pagans* because they feel that the church and state should be seperate entities and because, hell, they must be satanists! < /sarcasm>

*disclaimer: i am in no way trying to say that pagans in general do not believe in God or are satanists. the views expressed in the above paragraph are of a fictional bible-thumper who, in this case, has a very ignorant view of how religion and state should coincide on a pepsi can. i have once considered myself a pagan and i do believe in a God. i just don't believe that an unsuspecting pepsi can should be forced to carry around a statement that is highly controversial and obviously not the general consensus of america's population.
