crossed wires

4:49 p.m.there's this guy who keeps dialing a certain number to reach something called, "emergency services", a doctor's office. but he keeps getting patched through to our local line. we've compared the numbers, and the two are completely different. he's called back four times, sure that the number he's dialed is accurately entered.
i hope that it isn't an emergency. otherwise, that would be pretty scary. i'm sure that the wires are probably crossed somewhere, or maybe the doctor's office forwarded the calls to a different number and accidentally forwarded it to ours. there could be a number of explanations.
i just find it interesting. i hope that person finds what he's looking for, especially if it's medical assistance. i've had wrong numbers before, but nothing that may involve the health of another.
