10:55 a.m.

ludicn: beans, lentils, etc. buy them in a bag, cook a big pot, eat for a week - there's a good deal of your protein

ludicn: brown rice, millet, keenwa (I know that's spelled wrong, but the word sounds the way I spelled it)

ludicn: there's your whole grains

ludicn: cook a big pot of that and eat also with the beans & such

ludicn: lots of vegetables - steam those or cook them also and eat with the other

ludicn: a few potatos & tomatos, those are your night shades and you shouldn't eat them every day, only a few days a week

ludicn: if that

ludicn: once a week can be enough

ludicn: greens

ludicn: raw spinich, romaine lettuce, other leafy greens

ludicn: those give you your vitamins and minerals

ludicn: eat them fresh like salad

prophecy b o y: how do you eat the raw spinach

prophecy b o y: oh okay

prophecy b o y: cool

ludicn: or make a whole salad with other veggie

prophecy b o y: hmm...cool

ludicn: it just tastes like lettuce - most people don't know that

prophecy b o y: yeah i know

prophecy b o y: i was just wondering how to prepare it, you know

prophecy b o y: ?

prophecy b o y: cuz most spinach i eat is cooked...i forgot about them in salads

ludicn: or substitute it in sandwiches, it's good liek that too

ludicn: sandwiches on whole grain bread, mind you

prophecy b o y: of course

ludicn: you also want to get maybe some yogurt and some pickles

ludicn: those are your bacteria foods

ludicn: eat those a couple times a week too

prophecy b o y: cool

prophecy b o y: yeah

prophecy b o y: this is great...

prophecy b o y: more than enough info

prophecy b o y: thanks!

ludicn: also dried fruit and nuts - almonds, walnuts, etc,

ludicn: those are your good fats

ludicn: the nuts

ludicn: and the dried fruits have iron and fiber

prophecy b o y: how often should i go grocery shopping?

prophecy b o y: like, how often do they keep?

prophecy b o y: the greens especially

ludicn: once a week for the fresh foods

ludicn: everything else will last a long time - more than a month probably

prophecy b o y: okay, cool

prophecy b o y: i need to start bringing lunch

ludicn: oh except the yogurt too

prophecy b o y: yeah

prophecy b o y: what's millet?

ludicn: yeah I do this sometimes, I'll cook a big pot of pinto beans and rice and bring it to work and eat it every day, some days have salad or sandwiches when I don't feel like beans

prophecy b o y: and keenwa?

ludicn: they're like rice, in a way, but they're light and fluffy and smaller

ludicn: grain

ludicn: that you cook

prophecy b o y: do you cook it like rice? or do you boil them and strain it?

ludicn: you cook it like rice

prophecy b o y: in a rice cooker, too?

ludicn: hmmm... I would assume so. If you buy some, it'll say on the package how to cook it. (I'm such a stickler for instructions, almost too much)

prophecy b o y: yeah i hear that

prophecy b o y: wow, i'm all excited

prophecy b o y: my mom's gonna freak out

prophecy b o y: she keeps cooking and i won't eat anything she cooks anymore

prophecy b o y: lol

prophecy b o y: she already thinks i'm weird

prophecy b o y: but a vegetarian in a filipino household just baffles her

prophecy b o y: she still doesn't understand

prophecy b o y: she cooked chicken the other night

prophecy b o y: after repeatedly telling her i don't eat meat anymore

prophecy b o y: and she was still like, "oh, but it's good. try this.."

ludicn: hahaha.... sometimes, you know, parents just don't understand

ludicn: hahah

prophecy b o y: ah, quoting the wise william smith, i see...

ludicn: you got it .

ludicn: hahah

prophecy b o y: lol
