possible new position

1:34 p.m.so i did it! i asked one of the lady's who works here to see if she needed an assistant. she always seems busy and everytime she's out on trips, she always gets an excess of calls for her. i figure, she'd need some help. and she kind of figured that i'm getting sick of the phones up here.
she has a meeting with the CEO later today and she said she'll bring it up. i hope she wasn't kidding or just trying to be polite and agreeing with me. but if i could be her assistant, that would be rad! she does the advertising for our company, maybe i can get a little graphic design into it. i may lose my own space and internet access, but i think it's worth it. there might be a slight raise involved, too! wow, i hope this goes through.
but, coming back to reality, i don't think our company can afford to hire new people. they'd have to hire a whole new receptionist and train him/her.
