7:33 p.m.i found a reason to be happy. and she was right in front of me this whole time.
this little girl has a bright future in front of her, and she's gonna need all four of her godparents to pamper and teach her all about life. she's a part of us now. a culmination of who we are. our friends are a family and she's the new edition. the thing with us has always been how diverse we are. we come from different religions to no religion, different ethnicities and sexuality. yet, we can all understand each other and show an immense amount of love for one another. and this little girl is gonna see that. she's going to have us to be there for her. from her first steps to her first words. we might be going into war and this is most definitely not a good time for children to be born in. but she'll come out strong and we'll be there to keep her safe. i want to make sure she grows up with an open mind. i want her to be strong in her faith, whatever faith that may be. and i want her to understand what that means.
her name is heaven backwards. she should understand what heaven is. not the bribe that christianity offers for those who are worthy when they die. it's a symbol of resolution. of peace. of tranquility. where it is and where it could be is up to us, up to her. and she should know what that means.
