good in this world

11:26 a.m.you know what? i love being there for my friends. when i can offer advice that i'm sure of, i'll give it. it makes me feel so good to relay something i've learned onto someone else who is in need of it. i don't really know how much it helps them, or how much they take in what i say, but when i'm giving it, i feel really good. it's about the only thing lately that i've been really passionate about.
maybe when i go back to school, i can get into psychology or sociology of some sorts. i wouldn't mind being a counselor. i did it all through high school, and i helped a lot of kids find their way as they had helped me in return. i felt like i was actually doing something good in this world. i felt like i had purpose.
i wouldn't mind earning my way into this as a profession. but it would be a tough road ahead. but well worth it in the end. don't you think?
