8:57 a.m.so, the first movie i ever saw by myself was spider-man. i saw it on opening day. that was the turning point in this whole independence kick. i figured that if i was going to stand strong alone, i'd have to start doing things alone. and it got to a point where i couldn't go watch a movie unless it was on a date or if i was with friends.
what's up with that? where the hell did i learn that from? movies are just as fun when you go by yourself! i loved it. in fact, going to the movies are so much fun for me when it's spontaneous. and if it's opening night, you only have to worry about finding a seat for yourself. (it kinda sounds sad and depressing, but it's not.)
so, i remember that day, i sat behind this girl. she was just kickin it by herself reading a book. i remember her talking to some other guy and she was telling him that she ditched work to see this. i thought that was so cool. but i didn't have work that day, so i wasn't playing hooky or anything. it was my day off and it just worked out. but i thought if i were to ever get a boring 9-5 job, that i'd love to do the same thing.
X-men 2 opens today. the first showing is at 11:30am.
i have a "doctor's appointment" at 10:30am.
hehe. i'm so bad. spontaneity kicks ass!
