11:57 a.m.i made a wish on a stray leonid two years ago. the wish came true, but i wasn't around to grab on. my selfish desires and i pursued another.
i learned that wishes can come true if you want something enough. but, it takes more than just wanting to make that something happen. it takes more than wishing.
every year the leonids come, i'll observe the amazing power of wishing, but also the amazing powers of effort, understanding, and respect.
this year, i'll make my wish. but this time, i'll have my eyes and heart open, so i may make it happen.
