8:33 a.m.a strange joy and sigh of relief has come over me. for the most part, i haven't been following the status of this war, not intentionally anyway. except for what i've read in everyone's diaries, i'll pick up little pieces of information from family and friends and news bits. not much to form an intelligent position on what's going on. i just want to know if scott and my dad will be alright.
well, this weekend, we found out that scott will be home in time for the wedding. the original date in june in vegas. so all's well for vegas in june! we're all pretty happy and excited that he's going to be home safe and sound. i just got an email from my dad today saying that he's going to be off the ship in a couple days and heading home to guam. i'm very happy about that. i've been kind of numb about this war. not really paying attention. yet, completely aware of the evils behind it and the evils that still plague it's ongoing status as of this moment. but, i'm overjoyed that my friends and family out there will come out okay and that two people i know for sure are coming home. as for the rest, i have nothing but good thoughts and blessings for them to come home safe and sane and in one piece.
