9:11 a.m.so i hung out with asha and allie last night. it was fun. we just sat around drinking beer. we looked at the magazines on the coffee table. reading articles and politcal cartoons. it was pretty chill. i had a good time. i met allie's "friend" mike who lives downstairs. he's pretty cute and really nice, for a straight guy. no, but seriously, i thought he was a pretty cool guy. he even cooked us dinner later. i guess, he cooked it for allie, but ended up cooking a lot. so, we went downstairs to watch comedy central and eat with them. i only have five beers, but i had a good buzz going.
i'm glad that i got to get out of the house for the first time this week. i remember drinking on saturday watching dvd's by myself. i must ate a lot because i wasn't even buzzing. and although i had a good "me" night, it wasn't as much fun as drinking with someone. even if we weren't doing too much. asha and allie's place is really coming together. it's a pretty chill atmosphere. they were talking about a housewarming party, and we happened to be talking about meeting guys and hooking up. so i guess we're going to use that event to meet some people. those girls have introduced me to some cool people, but, i haven't really met any potentially gay people. or not that i know of. hmm. anyway, i subtly hinted that when they think of inviting people to their get-together, that they should keep their gay friend in mind. (their gay friend being myself, of course) as i've said time and time before, i'm ready to start dating. i'm ready to mingle.
this cloud of laziness and unmotivation is over. as of today, i'm hitting the gym and i'm hitting the books. i have three very good books i've started to read and i intend to read all of them. (hermann hesse's demian, jack kerouac's the dharma bums, and genesis revisted) i'm gonna get back on track and get fit, mind and body. and in the process, my soul. that's the plan. let's hope i stick to it!
